The vault restrooms were fine, the newer kind. It was 4 miles total roundtrip from our campsite. We walked from our campsite to the trailhead which is just across the highway when you exit the campground, down the trail to both falls and back.
We also did the "Waterfall Trail" to see Sahalie and Koosah Falls. The trail strays away from the lake quite often as well. The other side very nice forest floor trail. We did the trail around the lake, it's pretty long and the campground side has quite a bit of lava rock areas as the trail. We launched kayaks from the boat ramp in the campground with no problem, but we had to drive them down there because it's too long of a walk from site #6. THE SHORTEST way to the Clear Lake Resort, is to go to the left at the guardrail access point, if you are looking at the lake from the campground road.
